Image Of The Week—The Newest Kid On The Block

Heading to Riviera Dunes Dockside restaurant in Palmetto, Fla., from the Sarasota Hyatt hotel this morning, the Invitational Outboard Skater Fun Run fleet includes just one boat completed in this decade. Now the property of Brandon Burgess, the fiery 368 catamaran was completed for Tyler and Lindsey Miller of M CON offshore racing team-fame in 2021.

“I love it,” said Burgess during yesterday’s lunch outing at Doc Ford’s Rum Bar and Grille in St. Petersburg, Fla. “Thank you Tyler and Lindsey Miller for building it.”
Arguably, it’s the sexiest creation in the 13-cat group. Inarguably, it’s the most powerful boat in the outboard Skater group as it’s the only one equipped with Mercury Racing 450Rs.
The next-youngest cat in the mix is Marc Halpern’s 2017 model-year 308. But both are new kids on the block compared to Alex Middleton’s 24-footer finished in 1984.
