Image Of The Week: Scism and Peters Tie The Knot
During last month’s MTI Owners Run to Hawks Cay Resort in the Florida Keys, company vice-president Taylor Scism helped plan a surprise photo session for the engagement of St. Louis-based customers Andrew Mackey and Savanna Richardson on their MTI-V 42 center console. And thanks in large part to Tom Leigh of Tommy Gun Images, it couldn’t have turned out better.
Just six days ago, Scism and Shaun Peters got married at Little Palm Island, about 30 miles down the road from Hawk’s Cay.

Now Scism and Peters, who also works for the Wentzville, Mo.-based company as its sales and assets manager, are back on their respective jobs. “We are taking our honeymoon in August,” said Scism.
The professional images from their nuptials are not ready, but Scism sent us a couple of shots in the meantime.
From our long-ago days at Powerboat magazine in the early 2000s to present, we have watched Scism grow into a joyful and poised 27-year-old woman. She has flourished at MTI and reinvented its customer hospitality and concierge programs. And along the way, she spearheaded the birth and evolution of offshore racing’s 450R Factory Stock class. We can’t wait to see what she does next.
