Image Of The Week: Miller/MTI Time In Miami
If you showed up at an offshore powerboat race during the past few years, there was a good to excellent chance you spied a red, white and black Cigarette Racing Team 41 Nighthawk owned by Tyler and Lindsey Miller of Wathena, Kan., in the center of the racecourse. The 41-foot outboard engine-powered 41-footer served as the support/spotter boat for the Miller’s Class 1 Monster Energy/M CON and Super Cat M CON/Monster Energy teams.
And in the rare instances they had spare time for pleasure boating, the 41 Nighthawk was the Miller’s go-to pleasure boat.

But while the hues of their latest center console, which is on display this week at the Miami International Boat Show, are familiar, its brand and size are completely new to the couple as they are now the proud owners of an MTI-V 50 luxury performance center console. The 50-footer, which is powered by five Mercury Racing 500R outboard engines, is prominent in the MTI exhibit inside the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The Millers set eyes on the new MTI—their first boat from the Wentzville, Mo., builder—they ordered through Lake of the Ozarks-headquartered Performance Boat Center for the first time today. And it left them almost speechless.
“It is insane,” Tyler Miller said. “Lindsey’s knees were shaking.”
Look for it in the center of an offshore racecourse near you this summer.
