How To Watch Shootout Offshore When You’re Nowhere Near The Lake Of The Ozarks

With Brad Harrington and Bob Teague—both members of the Bob Morgan Memorial Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Hall of Fame—joining veteran broadcaster and Missouri Sports Hall of Fame member Rod Smith, the Shootout Offshore broadcast promises to be entertaining and informative. The May 30-June 1 event at Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri is the third event of the American Power Boat Association Offshore National Championship Series and the second event of the Powerboat P1-produced Union Internationale Motonautique Class 1 World Championship.

According to Lake of the Ozarks executive director Leah Martin, “special guests” will join the broadcast during the Friday and Saturday race coverage.

At the local level, LakeTV and “several of its channels” in Missouri will carry the Friday and Saturday broadcasts. Downloadable through Apple’s App Store and Google Play, the LOZ App is another option for Lake of the Ozarks locals. And of course, for fans who can make it to the Camden on the Lake Resort host-venue, there are plenty of waterfront viewing options.

But how can would-be viewers catch all the racing from afar?

“You can watch (via livestream) on the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout/Shootout Offshore website and their Facebook page and YouTube channel,” Martin said.

Powerboat P1 also will carry the livestream broadcast on its Facebook page.
