Hobie Launches Ukraine-Themed Special Edition Kayaks for a Cause

Premium kayak and watersport product manufacturer Hobie partnered with BRD Custom to design six special edition Ukrainian-themed SKINS to be applied to Mirage Compass pedal kayaks and sold or auctioned off to support Revived Soldiers Ukraine, a nonprofit that promotes awareness of human rights and delivers humanitarian aid.
Kayaks for the United by Water Ukraine campaign will be available at over 40 dealerships in the U.S. and Europe, with kayaks raffled off in the U.S. and 100% of proceeds going to Revived Soldiers Ukraine. The online raffle runs June 25 – September 5, and participating stores will host one of the six designs in their storefront displays for the public to view.

Like the rest of the world, we are shocked and devastated by the recent months’ events in Ukraine,” says Kelley Woolsey, Hobie vice president of Global Sales, Service, and Marketing. “Today more than ever we are an interconnected global community, and we must find ways to help each other. That’s why we are doing our part at Hobie and launching this raffle with our authorized retailers to give 100% of proceeds to support the humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.”
