Stop by the 11th annual Speed On The Water Key West Bash presented by Parallel Project on Thursday, November 7, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Pickles Pub’s Sandbar on Greene Street. Lively Machine Co. principal Jeff Hoefling, who lives in Evansville, Ind., and owns an Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats SC 37 catamaran, has custom-etched a new Glock G43 semi-automatic pistol with logos in the signature style of Louis Vuitton.

Hoefling described the customized firearm as “the preferred choice for women conceal-carry.”

“The one we donated earlier this year at the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Auction brought in $5,000,” he said. “And it isn’t nearly as nice as this one. We will be adding a Tru-Glo night-sight a Crimson Trace Laser sight, as well as a few extra goodies to with the firearm.”

Delivery of the weapon, of course, will not happen on-site in Key West per federal restrictions.

“Once I get the winning bidder’s address I’ll find a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) gun shop close to their location for the transfer,” Hoefling explained. “I’ll also pay the transfer fee.”
