Gallery Of The Week: Concepts Conquer Emerald Coast Poker Run
The 30th annual Emerald Coast Powerboat Week Poker Run wrapped up yesterday and the entire show—from the parties at AJ’s to the Miss Powerboat Week bikini contest at Harry T’s—was as exciting as ever. The team behind the Florida Powerboat Club, which organized the event in Destin, Fla., was pleased with how everything came together, as were the participants, many of which enjoyed the run in a performance center console.

While there were many offshore V-bottoms and outboard-powered sport catamarans in the mix, center consoles from Cigarette Racing Team, Fountain Powerboats, MTI, Midnight Express, Mystic Powerboats, Nor-Tech, Statement Marine, Sunsation Powerboats and more encompassed a majority of the registrations for the popular poker run. They even took up most of the dock parking in front of AJ’s at the Destin Harbor Boardwalk.
Such is a sign of the times. And, similar to the company’s participation in the Florida Powerboat Club’s Miami Boat Show Poker Run back in February, several Concept Boats center consoles showed up for the Emerald Coast Powerboat Week Poker Run, including a trio of radical 44-footers from the Miami-based company that are powered by four Mercury Racing outboard engines and encompass this Gallery of the Week in the slideshow below.
Check out the slideshow above for a couple of images of each 44-foot Concept on hand for the event.
Along with South Carolina boater Dawn Hadden’s gorgeous 44 Sport Cabin, which is powered by four Mercury Racing 450R engines and named Dirty Little Secrets, the two other 44-footers stood out amongst the fleet. One model was a 44’ Cabin featuring four Mercury Racing Verado 350 engines owned by Octavio Valdivia and named Awesome 1. The other was a 44’ Open powered by four Mercury Racing Verado 400R engines that is owned by Chad Van Tilburg and named High Limit.
All three of the sizable boats photographed well and each of them had fun-loving groups on board for the event on the beautiful Emerald Coast.
