Four Horsemen Poker Run Ending After 2024 Event
Performance-boat owners registered for the 2024 Four Horsemen Poker Run, set for June 7-9, will be the last group to experience the Oshkosh, Wis., event on Lake Winnebago. After a successful 15-year run, the Four Horsemen happening backed by Sweetwater Performance Center and Marina is shutting down after this year.

“It is hard to believe how time has flown,” said Jason Lindemann, the owner Oshkosh-based Sweetwater Performance Center and Marina, in a press release from the event organizers issued this morning. “The Lake Winnebago Four Horsemen Poker Run has been more than just a gathering; it’s been a family reunion on the water, filled with laughter, shared experiences, and unwavering support.
“We are immensely proud of what this event has accomplished,” he continued. “Over the years, we’ve not only celebrated our passion for boating but also made a significant impact on our community, having donated over $100,000 to local businesses and individuals in need. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and generosity of our participants, sponsors, and supporters. We extend our deepest appreciation to our boating family for your loyalty and enthusiasm over the years.”
The release cited “challenges such as staffing constraints, escalating operational costs and the evolving landscape of sponsorships” as the reasons for the cancelation of the run after 2024.
