Fort Myers Offshore/Mercury Racing Key West Bash Auction Package To Benefit Two Fine Causes
If you’re not already a Fort Myers Offshore member, here’s some good news: You’ve only missed one event on the nonprofit scholarship-fundraising club’s 2024/2025 roster so far. Here’s some even better news: Bid high enough on an item from the organization during the Speed On The Water Key West Bash auction on Thursday, November 7, and you can be a Fort Myers Offshore member in time for the outfit’s new event, the Turkey Run to Punta Gorda for lunch on November 30.

Thanks to Fort Myers Offshore president Tim Hill, the club has put together an auction package for the 11th annual Key West celebration, which returns once more to the Pickles Pub’s Sandbar on Greene Street. The package includes a one-year corporate or charter membership, two seats in the helicopter carrying photographer Pete Boden for one Fort Myers Offshore event, four club-branded poker-run style shirts, two branded pullovers and four branded T-shirts. The winning bidder will also have the opportunity to use his or her boat as a paceboat for an event.
To sweeten the deal, we are combining a Mercury Racing-donated Dock Package with the Fort Myers Offshore auction item. The package includes floor mats, beach towels, folding chairs, a solar bank, Hydro Flasks and a cooler—all of which will come in handy during the club’s Cayo Costa Beach Raft-Up on April 5.

And the winning bidder won’t just be supporting Fort Myers Offshore and its worthy educational cause. Proceeds from the auction go to Samuel’s House, a Key West-based shelter for women, children and intact families.
