Final Episode Of Super Cat Docu-Series To Air Wednesday, December 11
Having binge-watched all three episodes of the “Super Cat – Race For US-1” docu-series with two sharply different groups of viewers—one hardcore, foaming-at-the-mouth offshore racing fans and the other a couple of land-lubbers who until then had never watched an offshore race and knew nothing about the sport—I was knocked out by the giddy response from both groups. I knew the series would be good because speedonthewater.com has worked with the video-production team at Scrapyard Media for five years and they’ve done outstanding work.
But bonafide crossover-audience appeal? That’s something I didn’t expect. Not only does it make the production unique in the offshore racing world, it’s a tribute to the talent and vision of the Scrapyard crew.

And though they were supposed to be finished with the series, Scrapyard founder Brad DiMaggio and his crew aren’t done yet. The original plan called for three episodes that finished with the Super Cat national-champion team being crowned. But thanks to backers Larry Bleil of Race World Offshore, Denis McComb of MYCO Trailers and Tyler Miller of M CON, there is still one episode to go and it will air next Wednesday, December 11, at 12 p.m. EST on the Speed On The Water YouTube channel.
The bonus episode follows the M CON/Monster Energy, Dirty Money and TF Motorsports/Hancock Claims Consultants Super Cat teams as they vie for top honors in the Race World Offshore Key West World Championships, which wrapped up earlier this month. The results were well-reported on speedonthewater.com, of course, so fans know that Dirty Money prevailed. But like the rest the series, the “bonus” Key West episode offers another look behind the curtain, one ruffled by ferocious competition, controversy and hard feelings for much of the 2024 season.
So mark your calendars and great ready for a season finale you will not forget.
