The rudder-steered cat’s quad-cam four-valve turbocharged engines have 80 operating hours, according to the listing, Mounted on custom SCS drop-boxes, the drives were recently refreshed with new custom shafts, bearings and seals.
Top speed is in the mid-140-mph range. According to Maryland Offshore’s Andrew Imof and Mitch Kramer, the boat handles “on rails” and exhibits no mid-range hop or porpoising.
The 40-footer’s dash also has been upgraded with twin Garmin 8612 GPS unit and Mercury Marine VesselView monitors.
