Featured Boat: 2008 Outerlimits 51 GTX ‘Mamba’ – Speed on the Water
Dressed in an incomparable paintjob by Dean Loucks of The Art Of Design, the canopied 51 GTX Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats V-bottom called Mamba and completed in 2008 remains a stunner. And now the all-carbon-fiber 51-footer is for sale through Performance Boat Center of Osage, Beach, Mo.

The boat is powered by Mercury Racing 1100 engines with new No. 6 drives, M-Series transom assemblies and Hering propellers. According to the listing, the quad-cam four-valve turbocharged engines have 337 operating hours. Additional hardware includes a Westerbeke EFI gasoline-powered generator for the air-conditioned cockpit and Mercury Racing 380-S K-planes.
Recent upgrades include a new interior and a new carbon fiber dash with two new Garmin GPS units and a Mercury VesselView monitor. A David Clark headset intercom system, front and rear video cameras and a JL Audio sound system are among the 51-footer’s many noteworthy electronic goodies.
