Coming out of the late-April Race World Offshore 7 Mile Offshore Grand Prix in Marathon, Fla., with two damaged engines, the Farnsworth Motorsports/Hancock Claims Consultants team had to scramble to be ready for the next race in Cocoa Beach, Fla. But scramble the team did.
Now that Farnsworth Motorsports/Hancock is registered, there will be no less than five Super Cat teams in Cocoa Beach next weekend. Photo by Pete Boden copyright Shoot 2 Thrill Pix.
Now the team is registered for the for May 17-19 American Power Boat Association Offshore National Championship Series event.
“The Kasse Racing Engines team worked tirelessly to help our team make Cocoa Beach,” said Win Farnsworth, the team’s owner. “Our engines are on their way to us.”
There is still work to be done for the Farnsworth Motorsports/Hancock team as just eight days remain before the Sunday afternoon Super Cat contest. In addition to needing reinstallation, the engines have to be tested.
So far, four Super Cat teams including Farnsworth Motorsports/Hancock Claims have signed up for the event. The M CON/Monster Energy team is not yet registered but committed to be there, so fans can expect to see no less than five Super Cat teams to take the green flag.
