Eclectic Performance Boat Center In-Water Display Coming To Miami

Formerly Sea Isle Marina, the Venetian Marina and Yacht Club will host the in-water portion of the 2023 Miami International Boat Show, which is set for February 14-19. Among those exhibits will be Performance Boat Center’s typically robust display of high-performance offerings. Products on display at the docks from the multi-brand, high-performance powerboat dealership, which is headquartered in Osage Beach, Mo., but also has a growing location in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., will include those from Sunsation and Velocity.

“We built a Sunsation 40 CCX center console and two 32 CCX center consoles for Miami,” said Brett Manire, who co-owns the dealership with Mark Waddington. “We also are taking a Velocity 290 SS and the 42-foot FASS catamaran to the show, and both will be in the water.”

Another 32-foot Sunsation 32 CCX offering will be displayed inside the Miami Convention Center at the Mercury Marine/Mercury Racing display. That 32-footer also was ordered by Performance Boat Center.

A 29-foot Velocity Powerboats will be at the Performance Boat Center docks and available for demo rides during the 2023 Miami event.

“Come the Miami and Fort Lauderdale shows, you can always expect the Performance Boat Center team to be dialed in,” said Ryan Wenk, the national sales and marketing manager for Sunsation in Algonac, Mich. “From their service team to the salesmen, they bring an unmatched level or professionalism and experience to the show.

“We love that they don’t focus as much on the frills of a flashy display, but instead focus on spending as much quality time with their customers as possible while helping them understand what’s available to them,” he continued. “End to end, we couldn’t ask for a better partner to attend these events alongside.”

Performance Boat Center will not display a new Performance Powerboats model—its own new line of outboard-engine-powered catamarans—during this year’s show.

“Our first hull is coming this week but unfortunately we won’t have it done in time for Miami,” said Manire.
