DCB Performance Marine Planning Four-Boat Shootout Attack
Fans of the DCB Performance Marine custom catamaran brand will have plenty to drool over next week during the concurrent Lake of the Ozarks Shootout and Super Cat Fest events in Central Missouri. Starting Friday, August 23, the Phoenix-based custom builder will have a dozen cats—including the latest M37R built for professional trophy truck racer Bryce Menzies—in the water at the Camden on the Lake Resort, the host venue for Super Cat Fest.

DCB fans also will get to see at least four of those boats in action that weekend during the Shootout competition. As previously reported, Jessica Pinisetti is teaming up with Shaun Torrente to run the Cowboy & Indian DCB M37R in the event. Southern California’s Jeff Clark will run his M31 cat powered by Mercury Racing 1100s.
The newest DCB in the Shootout mix will be Joe Juliano’s M37R, which like all DCB 37-footers competing this year is powered by Mercury Racing 500R outboard engines. DCB vice president Tony Chiaramonte will deliver the new beauty to Juliano this weekend and then the Orange, Calif.-based owner will haul it to the Lake of the Ozarks.
Chiaramonte doesn’t know if he’ll run the boat for Juliano in the Shootout. “I would love for him to run it, but I will leave it up to him,” he said.

But he does know he’ll be running Menizes’ M37R in the competition.
“Bryce has a prior commitment and can’t make it,” explained Jeff Johnston, the president of DCB, who will be on hand with Chiaramonte next week at the lake. “But he tossed the keys to Tony and said, ‘Go get ‘em, boys.’
“We also will have Bryce’s boat on display at the CTS Custom Trailers exhibit Wednesday night at the Shootout On The Strip event,” he added.
