Cigarette Midwest Freedom Fun Run Returning To Grand Lake

Opened in early 2024, Cigarette Midwest of Grand Lake, Okla., hosted its first Cigarette Freedom Run last Labor Day Weekend The daylong, Cigarette-only outing attracted 18 boats. The first-year turnout pleased the Cigarette team, so they’re bring it back this year on Saturday, July 26.

Sales representative Laci Goldner, the daughter of dealership-owner Caleb Goldner, said that based on customer feedback so far she is expecting almost 40 Cigarette owners to participate.

This second-year Cigarette Midwest Freedom Run is scheduled could become a two-day event by the time planning is complete.

“Last year, we had just three weeks to plan and get ready,” she explained. “We ran down to the dam, did a circle around the lake and then did raft-up before we served lunch back at the dealership.

“Though we’re still in the planning stages, we are hoping to make it a two-day event,” she added.

Goldner said that Cigarette Racing Team itself is committed to helping out with Freedom Run-branded apparel that will be sold during the event, which has no entry fee.

“We’ll have more information to put out there early next month through social media and email blasts to our existing customers,” she added. “We’re looking forward to hosting another successful event.”
