Boat Fix Announces Upgraded Boat Fix Pro App

Recreational boating telematics company Boat Fix announced the upgraded Boat Fix Pro app for boaters. Designed to give users a safer boater experience without the stress, the updated app includes current NOAA charts with navigational marks and depths and automatic weather warning pop-ups at the actual location of where the boat is located, including Small Craft Advisories, dense fog and severe thunderstorm with lightning advisories, and storm and hurricane warnings.

The Boat Fix Pro app also allows owners to access a remote overview check of the boat’s health on the Status page, and provides an anti-theft and unauthorized use protection with its geofenced security capabilities. Remote monitoring of battery voltage is accomplished with three separate alarms; ultra-low, low-, and now high-voltage, for critical issues that can lead to rapid degradation of battery life and ultimately fire and explosion.

Boaters can access safety checklists of US Coast Guard required equipment, receive reminders for when to replace safety equipment like flares and fire extinguishers, and even view a checklist prior to leaving the dock, and another upon the return.
