Big Thunder Marine Prepping For First ‘Winter Escape’
Based at the Lake of the Ozarks and boasting several locations on the shores of the Central Missouri waterway, Big Thunder Marine is launching a “Winter Escape” fun run to Key Largo, Fla. The almost-weeklong event is set for January 20-22 and will dovetail with the Florida Powerboat Club’s January 23-26 Winter Fun Run.

Participants are welcome, of course, to bring their own boats. But for guests who want to leave the driving to someone else, Big Thunder is offering the option of “cruising in style with experienced captains” to the Playa Largo Resort on Fountain Powerboats center consoles.
“We’re planning a lineup of family-friendly activities, including a relaxing day at Papa Joe’s,” said Sage Rush, Big Thunder’s marketing/media manager. ” “Most of our team will stay for the Florida Powerboat Club Winter Fun Run.”
Florida Powerboat Club head Stu Jones has described his Winter Fun Run as “one of most casual and intimate events, and one with a wonderful destination.” The two happenings should pair well.
