The list of suggested items that follows is not meant to be taken as a “standards” list. They may be standard or optional. The point is, the following features are important to look for if buying a family center console.
- Swim Step/ Platform: Family boating involves swimming and watersports. Look for a sturdy swim platform with a ladder of at least three rungs.
- Sun Protection: Make sure a Bimini top or T-top is available from the builder. These are essential to providing the shade that adds comfort to long days on the water.
