Join Senior Editor Chris Dixon in beautiful Fano, Italy for a sea trial of the first build in Azimut’s new three-boat Seadeck line. The speedy, 57-foot Seadeck 6 is driven by a trio of Volvo IPS’s. She’s solar-paneled, lithium-laden and represents a serious step forward for Azimut towards both reducing emissions and charting a more sustainable course. The Seadeck 6 carries a 40kW of BMW battery pack to run systems from the galley to AC to Seakeeper while solar juices her Torqeedo-powered tender. To repurpose plastic pollution, she’s even built of recycled fishing nets and water bottles.
