Avikus to Showcase Autonomous Navigation Solutions at FLIBS

Avikus, HD Hyundai’s autonomous navigation in-house startup, will be showcasing its Neuboat autonomous phase-2 navigation solution for leisure boats utilizing the Avikus Navigation Assistant System (NAS) and Docking Assistant System (DAS) at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show..
NAS allows boats to recognize and assess on-the-water situations in real-time without human intervention, and then create and maintain a safe, optimal boating route, allowing boaters to relax and enjoy the ride in safety and comfort. Owners can experience the autonomous navigation process through an Augmented Reality Screen, and can even control navigation from anywhere on the boat utilizing a mobile device.
When it comes to docking, the Avikus DAS technology takes the stress and heavy lifting away, utilizing an integrated cognitive system that allows boats to dock by themselves.
Attendees can explore and experience these autonomous navigation and docking systems at FLIBS October 26-30 at the Avikus booth in Bahia Mar Yachting Center’s Navy Zone.
