Antique Boat Museum to Hold First Summer Session of the Captain School

Registration is now open for the Captain School at ABM. Led by instructors Captain Tom Trovato and Captain Daniel Voth, the school provides the courses necessary to obtain a captain’s license, and offers students the materials needed to apply for a Merchant Mariner Credential through the U.S. Coast Guard at OUPV or Masters level up to 100GRT with the option to add a towing endorsement, upon completion of all coursework and testing.

During this session, Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels, Masters Upgrade and Towing Endorsement courses will be offered. 

Course Dates and Times:

OUPV – July 10 – 17 from 9 – 5pm

Masters Upgrade – July 25 – 28 from 9 – 5pm

Towing Endorsement – July 18 from 9 – 1pm
