Annual Mystic Owners Rendezvous And Demo Day In Motion – Speed on the Water
By the time the fog lifts this morning, the annual Mystic Powerboats Demo Day and Customer Appreciation will be rolling at the Westin Cape Coral Resort in Southwest Florida. Company owner John Cosker and his team arrived yesterday to start setting up, and by the end of the day Dock G in front of the host venue was filled with Mystic M4200 and M3800 center consoles, as well as the latest M5200 stunner and the first Mercury Racing 500R outboard engine-powered C4000 catamaran unveiled in October at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
In addition to hosting demo rides all day, the latest Mystic Powerboats M5200 center console will be the “classroom” for a Garmin GPS tutorial.
“The day started off really mellow and calm,” Cosker said, then chuckled. “But by the end, it got pretty crazy with all the arrivals.”
At the end of dock is the latest M4200, a black beauty being delivered to its new owner Jeremy Stradley, who lives in Michigan and will run its primarily on Lake St. Clair. Tied up next is Mystic M4200 hull No. 3 built in 2016.
“It’s amazing and humbling to see the community owners that has grown close around the Mystic brand,” said Cosker.
The Mystic fleet in Cape Coral this weekend is nothing short of stunning.
For the Mystic crew, this weekend is an all-hands-on-deck affair. Production manager Ryan Zivitski and his wife, Amber, are on site—and put their sons Paxton and Sterling to work last night hauling in boxes of shirts and drink-holders. National sales manager Greg Weber and his wife, Sherry, also are here to help host the Mystic owners in town for the gathering.
In addition to demo rides today, Mystic is holding a Garmin GPS tutorial from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the new M5200. A cocktail reception with light food at the Westin Cape Coral will start at 7 p.m. On tap tomorrow is a group lunch run to Punta Gorda. Another cocktail reception will follow that evening.
For Mystic owners who choose to stay Sunday, Weber plans to organize a casual lunch run to Cabbage Key or another nearby destination.
The black Mystic in this photo is the latest M4200 delivery. Docked next to it is third M4200 built by the company.
“Mystic has built its reputation on making a great product, but it also takes great customers to enjoy, promote and share their experiences to really make a successful company,” he said. “The owners rendezvous is one way Mystic we can say thank you to our great group owners and show off our latest products. “This weekend will be spent talking about boating times and experiences while creating some new ones,” he added. “We are very, very thankful for our Mystic customer-family and all the support they give us.”
