Adrenaline Building First 42 Reaper Center Console

Since introducing the 47 Reaper center console in early 2022, Adrenaline Powerboats has delivered nine of the stylish, outboard engine-powered beauties. And the Lymington, Ga., headquartered company has three more in various stages of construction. That qualifies as solid success, especially for a small ultra-custom builder.

The 42-footer will be the second model in the Reaper center-console line.

Now the company is following up the 47-footer with a 42-foot version dubbed the 42 Reaper, of course. Hull No. 1 is out of the mold and is slated for a June 2025 debut. Adrenaline already has three orders for the 42-footer.

“We are geared up to do 24 of the 42s and a dozen of the 47 a year,” said James Klement, a Jupiter, Fla.-based representative for the company. “We’ll also be coming out with a fishing version, first for the 42 and then for the 47.

The 42’6”-long model boasts a 12’ beam and weighs in at 22,000 pounds. Base power is quad Mercury Racing 400R outboard engines. With that propulsion package, the manufacturer’s estimated top speed is 85 mph. Upgraded to five 500R outboards, the manufacturers expect the vacuum-infused boat to reach 100 mph.

Base price is $1.48 million.

The hull for the first 42-footer is out of the mold.
