1,000 Islands Charity Poker Run Opening Sponsor Registration

“I literally just opened the link on the event website to have it up on my computer ready for sponsorship,” said Scism, who recently became vice-president of the Wentzville, Mo., high-performance catamaran and center console company.
Sponsorship is crucial to the success of the 1,000 Islands Charity Poker Run, which benefits the Make-A-Wish of Central New York program as well as local charities. Sponsorship opens via the website today at 12 p.m. EST. Would-be backers have opportunities from a $500 Friend-level sponsorships to $25,000 Ambassador-level sponsorships.
“I think it is a great event, and not only from an attendee standpoint,” said Scism. “I love what the event does for Make-A-Wish of Central New York.
General registration for the family friendly happening, which commands the stunning St. Lawrence River, opens March 1.
