The base comes equipped with a Tempress high back all weather boat seat with a quick disconnect swivel mechanism for easy transport and storage, and most of all- comfort. The Swivel Pod 360 installs without causing damage to the hull, or voiding manufacturer warranty, by simply placing it in the designated standard seating area. There is no permanent installation, the pod will simply fall into place into the existing scupper holes, and the passengers’s weight and stabilizing posts keep it in place. Should the kayak capsize the Swivel Pod 360 kayak seat can also act as a floatation device for up to 300 pounds!
