Sunsation Sun Run Registration On Pace For Another Blockbuster
With registration for the annual Sunsation Boats Sun Run on Michigan’s Lake St. Clair at 126 entries and almost three months remaining before the July 31-August 2 event, the fourth-year, brand-specific rendezvous is poised for another massive turnout. The 2025 happening includes a Thursday street celebration and exhibit in downtown New Baltimore, Friday’s main event and dinner and an over-the-top raft-up on Saturday.

“We fully expect registration to jump to 150 to 175 boats in the new next couple of months,” explained Ryan Wenk, national sales and marketing director for the Algonac-headquartered performance center console company. “The locals and the ‘diehards’ always are the first to register, and then registration continues to trickle in from Sunsation owners around the country.”
Registration for the 2024 Sun Run topped out at a record-setting 179 boats. Almost 100 Sunsation owners displayed their immaculate sportboats and center consoles in the street party.
Wenk said that almost all of the final details of the 2025 Sun Run have been nailed down and that the Sunsation team is eager to host another outstanding event for its loyal clients.
Sunsation Boats has one of the strongest followings in the go-fast boating world.
“We’re still working on a few last-minute things,” he said. “We’ve closed the door on most sponsorships, but we are still looking at a couple of interesting companies that want to support the event.
“Our goal is to continue building the event, and then take it on the road with Sunsation Sun Runs around the country,” he added.
