Statement 44GTrs Center Console And 396 Cat Headed For Miami Showcase

Everything Boating
Though the Miami International Boat Show won’t open until February 12, today is move-in day for the 44 GTrs center console and 396 catamaran from Statement Marine. Statement Dealer Randy Sweers, who spearheaded the development of both models, and an indentured henchman will spend much of the day waiting 44- and 39-footers to get positioned at the event’s Herald Plaza location.

“People who’ve seen the boats so far love them,” said Sweers, the owner The Marine Group in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. “And these are just the first two we’ve built at the Brazil facility. They are going to continue to get better and better.”
For Sweers, displaying the new models is a major milestone in a marine industry career spanning more than 30 years.
“After spending most of my career selling boats, having two to display in Miami is pretty mind-blowing,” he continued. “It’s been a long time in the making and I’m really proud of what we’ll be showcasing.”
Both the center console and catamaran will be dock-locked at Herald Plaza, which means neither will be available for demo rides during the five-day event. But Sweers will be at the display throughout the show to answer questions and set up demo appointments for each model.
“Visitors can set up appointments for after the show right there,” he said. “Or they can reach out once the show is over.”
