Sneak Peek—The Next Six-Outboard Deep Impact

Careful readers might have noticed a reveal in the final article of the recent “Bahamas Bound” travelogue series based on the six-night Florida Powerboat Club visit to the remarkable island chain. But in case you missed the news, Deep Impact Custom Boats is adding a 43-footer to its high-performance center-console line.

The new Deep Impact 439 center console will debut this fall at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
What’s more, the new model—dubbed the 439 in keeping with the Miami-based builder’s naming protocols—will be offered with up to six outboard engines.
“It will be the only 43 with a six-engine option,” explained Mark Fisher, the owner of the company. “It can be ordered with five or six (Mercury Racing) 500R or 400R outboards, as well as four (Mercury Marine) 600 engines
“It has the same stunning top and leaning posts as the 499,” he added.
The recently “decked” 43-foot model was built from new hull and deck molds. But it has the same 13-foot beam as its 49-foot sibling, which is the largest offering in the Deep Impact line, as well as the same cabin—with an enclosed head and shower locker—and helm station configuration.
Like the wave-taming Deep Impact 499, the boat also boasts enough cockpit space to accommodate a third row of bolsters for customers who prefer that configuration to the standard setup with two rows of bolster seating and a molded entertainment center behind the second row.
The Deep Impact 439 will debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in late October. Look for additional updates on speedonthewater.com as they become available,
