Six-Outboard Deep Impact 499 Center Console To Debut In Bahamas Poker Run

Tested yesterday for the first time in the waters off South Florida, the second Deep Impact 499 center console will be in the 16-boat fleet for the upcoming Florida Powerboat Club Bahamas Poker Run. The group departs tomorrow from the Fort Lauderdale area for the club’s 34th annual island-exploration adventure and will return June 17.

“We have a really nice group going,” said Stu Jones, the president and owner of the Pompano Beach event-organizing outfit.
Destinations for the group include Bimini, Paradise Island, Harbor Island/ Eleuthera, Spanish Wells and more.

The boat is equipped with 3,000 hp worth outboard engines.
The largest offering in the Miami-based center-console builder’s line, the outboard-engine-powered 49-footer was introduced at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Mostly white with blue accents, hull No. 1 was set up with five Mercury Racing
The second build is predominantly solid gray/silver and is equipped with six Mercury Racing 500R outboards. Hulls No. 3 and 4 are currently in production.

The second 49-footer from the Miami-based center-console builder rolled out of the factory yesterday for its first sea trial.
