Rocky Top Power Run Heading Into Third Year With New Host Venue
A couple of changes are afoot for the third annual Rocky Top Power Run on Tennessee’s Norris Lake. First, organizer Matt Rogers changed his original dates for the 2025 event to avoid conflicting with the relatively nearby Rock The River Fun Run in Cincinnati. That means the Rocky Top happening is set for August 7-9, which is the weekend before the popular Ohio River run.

Second, Rogers has officially inked Flat Hollow Marina and Resort in Speedwell, Tenn., as the event’s official host venue.
“It’s the perfect spot to kick off a weekend filled with high-energy fun, beautiful boats, and unforgettable memories,” Rogers wrote in a post on the Rocky Top Power Run Facebook page earlier today.
Ticket sales open Saturday, February 15. In 2024, the event attracted more than 130 boats inclement weather.
“This year is set to be our biggest and best yet,” Rogers added in his post. “We couldn’t be more excited to share the adventure with you all.”
