Remigo Launches Electric Outboard Remote Control

Remigo announced the launch of a new waterproof remote control for its award-winning RemigoOne electric outboard, allowing for effortless handling and control. The remote pairs seamlessly with the outboard via a secure binding process, so boaters can switch between the tiller and remote operation and adjust the motor’s speed from anywhere on board, or from the included tiller handle mount – a versatile magnetic mount system that enables intuitive placement in any orientation.
“When we designed the RemigoOne, we placed the throttle controls on top of the motor with its integrated battery,” explains Marko Vrtovec, CEO of Remigo. “RemigoOne is built for heavy-duty use at sea, despite its elegant appearance, and eliminating vulnerable connection points from external throttles or batteries increases durability. Since some boaters prefer outboards with throttle controls on the tiller handle, we decided to give them something better: a tiller-mountable remote control that maintains the ultra-rugged reliability the RemigoOne is known for.”
The remote easily removes from its tiller mount and clicks into its handheld mount, where owners can adjust the throttle from anywhere within a 15-meter range. Or lock the RemigoOne and use the remote for throttle while steering with the rudder. When it’s time to use the motor on a dinghy, the remote easily clicks into the tiller.
