Pro Class 1 Df Young Team To Run Five-Races In 2025
Though there are seven regular-season contests—with one drop-race—on the 2025 Pro Class 1 schedule, df Young team owner/throttleman Rich Wyatt plans to compete in the just two of them plus the three-race Race World Offshore Key West World Championships.

“I have a lot going on and I want us to be able to put our best foot forward at every race, so we are limiting our schedule,” Wyatt explained. “We are still sorting out our commitments but plan to do a couple races later in the season.
“We’re making some modifications to the boat we hope will make us more competitive,” he continued. “And we’re still doing repairs from damage sustained during the Key West Worlds last November.”
As for df Young team driver Alex Pratt, the founder of the Good Boy Vodka and canned pre-mixed cocktail brand, he has not decided if he will take the wheel of the team’s 51-foot Mystic Powerboats catamaran this season. A former motorcycle road-racer, Pratt is competing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge with Porsche North America this year.
“I’m also racing with Brenthel Industries off-road racing team in our new Class 1 Trophy Truck,” Pratt said. “And I am doing the Cowes-Torquay Cowes offshore endurance race in the United Kingdom again with Rob Lockyer. So unfortunately, there’s only so much I can do to try and balance all these major racing events in one year.”
Pratt’s primary focus will be on automobile racing this year.
But schedule demands are just part of his decision to reduce his offshore racing commitments, Pratt said.
“Unfortunately, the politics in offshore have gotten too out of hand for me making it no fun anymore,” he explained.
Pratt did not elaborate furthers on his statement.
