Powered By Performance Invitational Returning To Support Make-A-Wish

Set for June 12-14, Performance Boat Center’s second-year Powered by Performance Invitational is open to any brand of high-performance center console or catamaran carried by the Osage Beach, Mo., dealership. That means interested MTI, Performance Powerboats and Sunsation Boats owners have a Lake of the Ozarks event—complete with Performance Boat Center-style hospitality—this weekend.
Performance Boat Center’s Brett Manire said he is expecting 65 to 75 boats to participate.

The charitable event is open to owners of all three go-fast powerboats brands offered by the dealership. Photos by Jeff Helmkamp copyright Helmkamp Photos.
But for the dealership’s co-owner and the rest of its team, the event’s underling goal is raising money for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Missouri and Kansas. Last year, the weekend happening brought in more than $36,000 for the charity.
“It’s going to be a good one that includes ‘Casino Night’ at PBC,” Manire said. “And all proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish.”

Performance Boat Center’s showroom will be a hub activity this weekend.
The weekend starts with a Thursday night welcome party at Performance Boat Center headquarters. Friday’s fun run starts at 11 a.m. with a blast to The Cave Bar and Grill, followed by stops at either Big Dick’s Halfway Inn or Dog Days Bar and Grill. On Saturday, the fleet will head to the recently renovated Tap + Grill restaurant, after which participants will be on their own to choose a second destination.
Both runs will begin and end at Performance Boat Center. Set for Saturday night, the Casino Night celebration will take over the dealership’s showroom.
Registration for the Power by Performance Invitational is still open. Click here for a more-detailed event schedule.
