On Tap This Weekend: Waves And Wheels End-Of-Summer Fun Run

In any given year, Waves And Wheels in Osage Beach, Mo., produces a few gatherings on the Lake of the Ozarks for its loyal customers and vendors. Among the most popular of these is the company’s End-Of-Summer Fun Run, which is set for this Saturday and will start and finish at the company’s thriving facility known as The Boardwalk at Waves and Wheels.

“We are so busy in the summer getting projects completed that we don’t have much downtime,” said Justin Wagner, the owner and founder of the custom sound-system, rigging, fiberglass repair, upholstery fabrication/installation and painting company that will be soon begin building-out catamaran hulls from Doug Wright Powerboats.

“We still have plenty of work when summer ends, but the hard deadlines tend to fade away,” he added. “The fun run allows us to share the fruits of our labor with our customers and enjoy a great day on the water.”

The fun run will depart this Saturday at 11 a.m. from The Boardwalk at Waves and Wheels.

Event backers in addition to Waves and Wheels include Maryland Offshore Performance Marine Center, Marine Concepts, Wagner Insurance Agency and Ciao Bella Skin and Wellness. After departing Waves and Wheels at 11 a.m., the fleet will head to the Neon Taco for lunch and then depart for Coconuts Caribbean Beach Bar and Grill at 1:30 p.m. before—for those who care to return—heading back to The Boardwalk at Waves and Waves.
