Monster Energy Takes Title Backer Role For Powerboat P1 Triple Crown

Southern California-based Monster Energy has taken the title-sponsor role for the Powerboat P1/P1 Offshore-produced Triple Crown of offshore races. The series will kick off with the New Orleans Grand Prix June 25-29, and will be followed by the August 9-11 Midwest Challenge in Sheboygan, Wis., and the St. Petersburg Grand Prix, September 5-7 in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The news was announced in a Powerboat P1 press release this morning.

“Monster Energy is enthused to be the title sponsor of the P1 Offshore Triple Crown series in 2025, said Dave Gowland, the global energy drink brand’s vice-president of sports marketing, in the release. “Furthermore, we continue our support with world Championship-winning M CON Racing team, and we are pleased and proud to be back with this world-class team and pilots Tyler Miller and Myrick Coil, reigning Union Internationale Motonautique Class 1 World Champions.
“High speeds, careening through waves, and fierce competition are what Monster Energy is all about,” he added. “We’re stoked to be a part of this awesome and totally unique form of motorsport in 2025.”
Monster Energy also has signed as the title sponsor of the 2025 Powerboat P1 AquaX personal-watercraft racing series. AquaX competition will be featured at all Triple Crown events.
