Midwest Boating ‘Super Center’ Grand Opening Set For Early June

Just nine months ago, Midwest Boating Center broke grounds on its new 12,000-square-foot Super Center facility in Lake Ozark, Mo. Now the longtime Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats dealership owned by Marvin Dufner is ready for its grand opening, which is scheduled Friday, June 6.

Midwest Boating Center’s annual Nor-Tech Owners Fun Run at the Lake of the Ozarks is set for Saturday, June 7, the day after the grand opening of the dealership’s new facility.
The celebration will begin at noon, according to a press release from the Lake of the Ozarks dealership, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Representatives from Nor-Tech headquarters in Cape Coral, Fla., will be on hand to greet guests at the event, where Midwest Boat Center also will showcase its new NAVAN Boats line. Mercury Racing’s “Experience Trailer” also will be on location for guests to enjoy.
Midwest Boating Center’s annual Nor-Tech Owners Fun Run is set for the following day. The event will begin with breakfast at the Porto Cima Yacht Club. From there, the fleet will travel to Fish and Company, which will have live entertainment, for lunch. The group will finish up at the upscale 1932 Reserve restaurant for and end-of-day celebration.
Invites for the fun will be sent to Nor-Tech owners in the near future, according to the release.
