The FGHF hatch provides a smooth transition between hatch and deck

The FGHF range of flush hatches from Vetus promises a new standard for this product group.

Key features include the use of 12mm thick ‘dark smoke’ acrylic, polished and anodised high-grade aluminium frames and ergonomic and precision-engineered handles.

Maintenance-free, the FGHF hatches are suitable for category A, area II positions thanks to the VETUS clamps that secure the closed hatches tightly.

Stylish and smooth

The design is unashamedly modern and the meticulously engineered construction ensures a flush fitting into the deck that delivers a smooth transition between hatch and deck.

The FGHF series distinguishes itself from the FGH series by having flush mounted handles, stays and hinges in the acrylic so nothing protrudes. The flat surface ensures no lines can get caught.

The larger size hatches are also equipped with a socket in the handle, so they can be opened from the outside with the help of a winch handle.

“The square hatches are available in four sizes, from a 260mm along each side version up to 700mm,” explained Vetus’s Stephen Baker. “As well as making them easy to clean the flush design reduces wind noise and the polished and anodized aluminium frames are stylish and engineered for cut-outs with a corner radius of 43mm.”
