“We’re at 100-plus boats and counting,” said Jeff Hoefling, one of the event’s organizers. “Online registration closes this Sunday, May 18. That really gives us the time we need to prepare and be ready to host a great event.”
Benefitting the programs in the Lyon County Sheriff department, the event’s sponsor support also is flourishing.
“We’re have a more-than-10-percent increase in direct sponsor support this year,” explained Terry Martin, Hoefling’s fellow organizer. “That will translate into direct support for our local charities.”
Added Hoefling, “A huge thank-you to all of our sponsors who have supported us from day one. We welcome all the new sponsors that have come aboard this year. We wouldn’t be successful without their ongoing support and generosity.”
