Image Of The Week—Raceboat Wrap Reveal

Until recently, the XINSURANCE South team catamaran was a not-so-plain Pro Class 1 offshore raceboat in a very plain white wrapper. That changed last night for the Stuart, Fla.-based team with the completion of the 45-footer’s new wrap for the 2025 season, which begins next month at the Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri.

The XINSURANCE South team will continue testing its recently wrapped Pro Class 1 raceboat next week.
“Elias Garcia did the renderings,” said Bill Pyburn, Jr., who will throttle the boat alongside driver Brit Lilly. “Jamie Murkerson at Aggressive Signs and More in Jacksonville (Fla.) did the wrap.
“He did the wraps for both Pro Class 1 boats, three semis, two-stackers, one tilt trailer and the Dirty Money Racing Super Cat,” he added.
But there was significant prep work to be done before the transformation could begin.

Jamie Murkerson at Aggressive Signs and More executed the wrap design created by Elias Garcia.
“I had to sand the entire boat because the white paint was flaking off—so that was a complete job in itself,” explained T.J. Rand, the crew chief for the XINSURANCE South team. “It definitely was definitely a job, but it needed to be done correctly so the wrap came out amazing—and it did. Aggressive Signs did a great job.”
The team will resume practicing next week ahead of XINSURANCE Offshore event, set for June 20-22, at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Less than 24 hours ago, the XINSURNANCE South raceboat was plain white machine.
