Highfield Pink RIB Auction Raises $50,000 for Breast Cancer Charity

Highfield Boats in partnership with Tohatsu America Corporation auctioned off a Special Pink Edition Highfield Sport 360 RIB powered by a Tohatsu MFS40A EFI 40hp four stroke outboard at The Big Pink Charity auction in support of cancer research and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

“Highfield Boats CEO Julien Carusi came up with the concept of The Big Pink Charity Auction, and everyone at Highfield USA is proud to join in this effort to help fight cancer of all types, especially breast cancer, which has impacted so many of our lives and the lives of our loved ones,” said Highfield Boats USA President Christophe Lavigne. “Our heartfelt thanks go to Tohatsu, our partner [in] this event, and to Nautical Ventures, which will host the Special Pink Edition RIB until the end of the charity auction, for their support. We hope that bidders will be especially generous knowing the proceeds go to such an important cause.”

The special edition RIB auctioned at its full MSRP value of $27,999, and the winner increased the donation to $50,000, which will go to pay for free mammograms for women who can’t afford one.

“We are incredibly proud to partner with Highfield USA in The Big Pink Charity Auction,” said Tohatsu America General Manager John Adam. “Together we are committed to a world where no woman faces breast cancer alone. Your donations directly fund breast cancer education and support systems, and we encourage the marine industry to join us in fundraising for such a worthy cause!”
