HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I have always wanted to be a fishing guide, and I had a good friend encourage me into starting.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A GUIDE?
Eight years guiding in the Everglades.
BOAT LOCATION:
I trailer my skiff, so we can fish all the Everglades.
SEASONALITY:
We target snook, baby tarpon and redfish year-round. The bigger tarpon are active on the warmer days between NovemberMarch, with our main season being April-October. Our bass fishing is typically best during our driest months, which are February, March and April.
GENERAL AVAILABILITY:
I am a full-time guide and fish year-round in the Glades. My busiest time of year is February-July, although the fishing is good year-round.
