Golden Manufacturing bolsters staffing

Closely following its major production facility expansion, Golden Manufacturing has bolstered its staffing with promotions and the creation of a new position, as well as partnering with a software development engineer. Bill Golden, president and CEO, made the announcement.

Ken Felty has been promoted to the position of international sales manager. In this new role, he is responsible for developing global sales and supporting Golden’s international dealers. With the company since 2008, he excels at business strategy, contract negotiations and operations management.

Tommy Fryer has been promoted to new business development. Responsible for implementing and launching new products, he has been with Golden in various roles since 2013, most recently as its assistant sales manager. Fryer has a background in aluminum manufacturing and an Associate of Arts degree from Edison State College, Fort Myers, Florida.

Cody Cunningham is now Golden’s US sales manager. In this new role he will be in charge of sales training and processes including the migration to a CRM system. Additionally, he will create the methodology needed to strengthen the company’s robust network of dealers. Cunningham has a Bachelor of Business Management from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida.

Brendan Chase, founder and president of Chase Interactive Visuals, partnered with Golden Manufacturing to create custom value-added virtual reality and 3D dock and boat lift design software. Chase has considerable experience working in the marine industry. Specializing in 3D, VR and AR development, he has a Bachelor of Science in software engineering from Florida Gulf Coast University.

“Our growth mirrors that of the boat business as a whole,” said Golden. “To support this, we reshaped our sales force and are introducing new interactive technologies that will accelerate our prominent position among consumers and the industry.” ISO 9001:2015 certified, Golden Manufacturing has distribution warehouses on both US coasts and a global network of close to 200 dealers worldwide.
