Go Back To Back With Factory Billet Double-Feature
Released last Wednesday, the second Factory Billet V-bottom video, “Break A Record Or Keep A Promise?” has already reached 60,000-plus views on the Speed On The Water YouTube channel. No Scrapyard Media-produced video to date has produced such strong results in a five-day period. The 20-minute production, which tells the story behind the 51-foot V-bottom’s 186-mph achievement at the 2024 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, is on pace to outperform the first Factory Billet documentary, which attracted 425,000-pluw viewers in one year.

In fact, the second video in the Factory Billet series is on pace to eclipse the most-watched Scrapyard Media video to day, the compelling documentary chronicling the build of the Class 1 Monster Energy/M CON 43-foot Skater raceboat released in mid-2023. That video is approaching 600,000 views.
Both Factory Billet videos stand on their own—one is not required to enjoy, much less understand, the other. But if you watch them back to back, as I did last night, the experience is that much better.
So why not do it this evening?
It’s not as if it’s hard to find, as YouTube is the most-watched video steaming service in the United States. In July 2024, YouTube reportedly accounted for 10.4 percent of total TV viewership, making it the first streaming platform to surpass 10 percent.
Factory Billet video No. 2 is on pace to outperform the first one.
