Garmin Debuts New 15-Inch GPSMAP Chartplotter

Garmin announced the launch of its new GPSMAP 15×3 chartplotter that features an ultrawide 15-inch touchscreen display, allowing for new functions and integration.

“We are excited to add an ultrawide display option to our popular GPSMAP x3 chartplotter series that offers boaters and anglers a more expansive, immersive field of view. Coupled with its easy-to-use functionality, built-in mapping and superior sonar capabilities, the GPSMAP 15×3 delivers an incredible experience at the helm,” explains Susan Lyman, Garmin vice president of Global Consumer Sales and Marketing.

The new GPSMAP 15×3 chartplotter offers a larger display that is optimized for split-screen customization, built-in sonar, preloaded mapping with Garmin Navionics+ which includes Auto Guidance+ technology and a one-year plan for downloadable daily updates, and integration with Garmin Force trolling motor to create routes, patterns and tracks for trolling.

Seamless connectivity makes it easy to build an onboard marine system, and the chartplotter also delivers engine data support and allows users to manage all onboard systems from one screen. The new chartplotter offers two different mountain systems for aftermarket and OEM installation.
