Early Key West Poker Run Registration Open For Platinum-Level Florida Powerboat Club Members

Given that repeat visitors to the Florida Powerboat Club Key West Poker Run often book lodging and dockage for the following year during their stays, it makes sense for the club to offer “early bird” registration for the event to its Platinum members. Early sign-ups for 2025 happening, which is set for November 5-11, also are open to club sponsors in good standing.

“It makes things a lot easier for our staff,” explained Stu Jones, the outfit’s founder and president. “With early registration open now for two weeks, we’ve taken in 50 boats. That will help spread out the flow of registration.”
Platinum level is “the highest tier” of club-membership status, according to Jones.
“Platinum is a premium membership designation that gives members and their crews an advantage in dockage and lodging selections, as well as additional support for personal boating needs such as finding marine services, transportation, marinas and even personal planning non-poker-run trips,” Jones added.
The next event on the Florida Powerboat Club is Orange Beach Powerboat Week set for May 8-11. Registration for the Alabama-based event is still open.
“We have right around 40 boats so far,” said Jones. “It’s looking great.”
