Not the least of those objectives is topping the $730,000 raised during the 2024 event for charities at the Lake of the Ozarks and its surrounding counties.

The driver for the Pro Class 1 Monster Energy/M CON team owned by Tyler and Lindsey Miller, Coil will be particularly busy during the 2025 event as he will once again be a competitor. He and fellow Performance Boat Center team-member Rusty Williams plan to reprise their 2024 role piloting the Dirty Duck Skater 438 catamaran owned by Shootout-great Slug Hefner down the three-quarter-mile course.
“I’m just trying to help the Shootout,” Coil said in reference to joining the board. “It means a lot to me because the Shootout changed my life back in the late-1990s when it gave me the inspiration to go to tech school and become a boat-guy.”
