Big Bite Baits Unleashes the New Thresher Worm
Designed by pro angler Chris Noffsinger the 4 Thresher has a short stubby body and a long action packed tail inspired by the powerful Thresher shark It imitates dying bait like nothing else

IRVING, Texas – Big Bite Baits announces the launch of the Thresher Worm, a highly adaptable soft plastic bait built to dominate in a range of finesse techniques. Developed in collaboration with Big Bite pro Chris Noffsinger, this 4-inch worm brings aggressive tail movement and rigging flexibility, making it a go-to choice for today’s bass angler.

Designed for Versatility: Drop Shot and Beyond

At first glance, the Thresher Worm may look like a drop shot bait — and it excels in that role — but its applications stretch much further. With a compact, stubby body and an elongated, dynamic tail, it can be rigged Neko-style, on a Ned head, or even on a minnow head, making it ideal for anglers taking full advantage of Forward Facing Sonar (FFS).

“I wanted a worm that was truly multi-purpose,” said Noffsinger, a longtime Michigan guide. “Something that would imitate dying bait with subtle, natural action — whether I’m fishing structure, flats, or suspended bass.”

Inspired by Nature, Built for Action

The name Thresher pays homage to a vacation memory that sparked the idea. Watching thresher sharks in the Bahamas, Noffsinger noticed how their oversized tails moved with power and grace. That motion inspired the worm’s design — particularly the exaggerated tail, which flutters even on slack line.

This natural movement, paired with proven Big Bite color options, makes the Thresher Worm a standout choice for smallmouth bass, though it’s equally effective on largemouth and spotted bass.

Available Now in Proven Colors

The Thresher Worm comes in 8 fish-catching colorways, including popular options for clear and stained water. Each pack includes 10 baits, offering value alongside performance.

Available now at trusted fishing retailers nationwide.
