With a full week to go, the official Poly-Lift Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Poker Run presented by Living Realty Missouri—set for Friday, August 26—is already well ahead of last year’s pre-event sign-up pace with 80 boats registered online. On-site registration will remain open until Friday morning at Captain Ron’s Bar and Grill in Sunrise Beach, the starting point for the run and the longtime host-venue for the 34th annual top-speed on the popular Central Missouri waterway.

“Online registration is still open,” said Leah Martin, the Shootout’s executive director. “And people also will able to register the night before the run at the Thursday night Performance Boat Center welcome party.
“But it’s definitely filling up quickly,” she added.
After the fleet departs Captain Ron’s at 11 a.m., it will stop at The Cave, Nauti Fish, The Boardwalk at Waves and Wheels, Larry’s and Frank and Louie’s. The day will end with a celebration at Shady Gators.
In addition to cash prizes of $2,500 for first place, $1,500 for second place and $750 for third place the poker-runner with the worst hand will receive $300. Participants who make all stops will be eligible for drawing of a $500 gasoline card from Pirate’s Cove.
Would-be participants can register now by clicking here.
