Deep Impact To Showcase Flagship 49-Footer In Miami
High-performance center-console fans who didn’t make it to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show or the Florida Powerboat Club Key West Poker Run near the end of 2024 probably have not seen the Deep Impact 499 center console in person. But they will have another chance if they head to the upcoming Miami International Boat Show.

The largest model offered by the South Florida-headquartered company, the 49-footer will be displayed alongside a Deep Impact 399 center console at the builder’s exhibit during the February 12-16 event. The owner of hull No. 1, which is powered by five Mercury Racing 500R outboard engines, has graciously agreed to loan the boat to Deep Impact for the duration of the show.
“The owner loves the boat,” said Valentina Botero, the marketing manager for Deep Impact dealer Plantation Boat Mart & Marina in Tavernier, Fla.. “And the second 499, which also is sold, will have six Mercury Racing 500R outboards.”
Said Deep Impact company owner Mark Fischer after the Florida Powerboat Club Key West Poker Run, “The boat runs like the 399, only it’s 30,000-plus pounds and still handles like a sportscar.”
